A large-scale outdoor stage show on an island in the Hoai River, telling four centuries of Hoi An's history through 500 performers, silk, water and light. It's a proper spectacle — one of the biggest shows in Vietnam — with a Cham princess, trading junks, and a finale of hundreds of women in ao dai crossing a lantern-lit stage. The story is thin and the staging leans grand over subtle, but the sheer scale carries it. Runs most evenings around 8pm, weather permitting. Book a covered seat in case of rain, and pair it with the theme-park entry if you've got the afternoon.
