Ho Chi Minh Museum

Da Nang's Ho Chi Minh Museum pairs a standard tribute to the national leader with a far more interesting outdoor military section: real tanks, aircraft, helicopters and artillery from the war, parked in the grounds for you to walk among. There's also a replica of Ho Chi Minh's stilt house. The indoor displays are heavy on official history and light on English, but the hardware outside is genuinely worth a look and popular with kids. It sits a little out from the centre. Cheap or free depending on the day, and quiet.
