East Sea Park

Cong Vien Bien Dong is a green public park right by My Khe Beach, a shaded strip of lawns, paths and playgrounds where Da Nang families gather in the cooler hours. There's a large marble statue of Tran Hung Dao, the general who beat back the Mongol fleet, looking out to sea. It's a simple, pleasant spot — somewhere to sit under the trees between beach and city, let kids run around, and watch local life tick over. No admission charge. Handy if you're already on the My Khe strip and want a break from the sand.
