Danang Fine Arts Museum

A three-storey gallery of Vietnamese art in central Da Nang, mixing contemporary painting and sculpture with folk art and craft from the central region. It's one of the country's larger fine-arts museums outside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and a calm, air-conditioned break from the heat with a genuine collection behind it. Turnover of temporary shows keeps it worth a look even on a repeat visit. Quiet, cheap and central — an easy hour for anyone who likes their sightseeing indoors and a bit slower. Ticket at the gate.
